Description
The Ritchie aerator has been designed to relieve compaction on grassland, minimising inputs and maximising production.
Better drainage of water into soil structure. Improves grass production. The aerator is an environmentally-friendly, low maintenance machine requiring minimal horsepower.
Fitted with replaceable high quality Boron steel blades 12mm thick x 170mm long on two adjustable rotor shafts. The blades can be adjusted up to an angle of 10 degrees increasing the shattering effect on compacted grasslands. This allows surface water to drain thereby stimulating root growth and encouraging absorption of nutrients.
Fitted with cat 2 three point linkage, parking stands and towbar.
Optional Extra
water ballast tank set now available to fit 3 meter 863 model, – comprising 2 galvanised steel tanks fitted with large fill point, gate valve to drain and level guage on side. Tanks weigh 100kg each empty and have a capacity of 350lts.
