We have been made aware by a customer that he’s received what he thought was a scam email from Davies Implements. On reading the email we can confirm that this it is a scam.

If you receive this email please ignore and delete immediately. The email address was not from our domain which is what stood out for our customer.

We would like to assure you that we would not send out this sort of email and we always verbally provide our bank details to new customers.

In accordance with current DEFRA guidelines we remain operational. Your custom is hugely valued, but we would be very grateful if you could ring ahead if you plan to visit our premises. This journey should only be done if essential. Our opening times, for the forseable future, are changing.

Our opening times, from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, will remain the same. However, we will no longer be open on a Saturday monring. This is a temporary measure and  we plan to return to normal when possible.

Coronavirus

We are operating as normal at the moment and will continue to function in this manner for as long as we can.

The safety and well-being of our employees and customers is always our priority. We are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have taken steps to help keep our employees and customers stay safe. Therefore, on arrival at reception or the stores, we have hand sanitisor for visitors to use. We  also request that visitors and employees apply social distancing as advised.

If after visiting our premises, you or a family member become unwell within 24 hours, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible so that we can asses the situation and, if necessary, take action.

We are delighted to announce our appointment as dealers for Avant Tecno. Avant, a Finnish manufacturer, offer a range of versatile and compact loading machines to suit a diverse range of applications such as agriculture, forestry, grounds care and construction.

With a choice of over 250 attachments, the Avant can undertake a multitude of tasks including mowing, hedge cutting, post hole boring, timber handling and much more. The range also includes an electric model, where emissions may be an issue, and an option to switch to hand drive controls instead of using the drive pedals.

The Avant is a very powerful tool for its size, offering up to 1900 Kg lifting capacity and a maximum lift of 3.5 m at pivot point. Compared with a skid steer, the Avant offers significant fuel efficiency and, due to its articulated chassis, tyres can last up to six times longer. The machines can be supplied with a cab, where visibility is not compromised, thanks to its very ergonomic design.

Our recent visit to the Avant factory was enormously inspiring. Seeing the quality in the build of the product, the range of models and the wide range of attachments was invaluable to set us off on, what we hope, will be a long and successful relationship with the Avant brand.

In addition to sales, we will have hire units available with a selection of attachments within the next couple of weeks.
